It’s not DEI lol….but gender swapping people is just disrespectful to the original characters I feel like. There are so many women on the MK roster that they could have added if that’s what they wanted to do. It’s clear that they knew the robots would sell, but they also needed more women on the roster(which they do), but this just ain’t the way to do it, man. When GhostFace is the only thing I’m curious about in the kombat pack, something has gone horribly wrong. Lol

I like animalities and sektor and cyrax as women, but I am disappointed coz of Noob, guests and story! It is like Kang Destiny from Marvel but WB decided to use it for MK1 next story

The only thing similar between the T-1000 and T-800 is that their both killer robots, outside of that they're completely different in almost every way, I don't see the issue, by that logic its like saying "we just had spawn in mk11 so why are we having Omni-Man" because their both caped warriors

I don't really care they gender swapped the robots but it doesn't feel earned and no cyber initiative is a L. Its been 8 years since we got to play the bots and now we can't even play our boys and their suits look bad. They look fun at least thats all that matters.

I don't see the problem with having the T-1000 in MK1. Yeah, we had the T-800 in MK11, but they're not the same. The T-1000 is fast, has interesting abilities, and can actually show emotions. The T-800 is slow, has little to no interesting abilities, and can't show emotions.

Well, DEI is shit, but this is a multiverse reboot, so I don’t care in this specific example. But I just hate the hyper realistic artstyle of modern MK.

My personal opinion is that Cyrax and Sektor are the coolest they've ever been, i have vibed with pretty much all the new era changes. It kinda feels tailored to me, so I'm personally excited about em, probably the most out of the whole pack

I’m excited for all (Cyrax less so, because I’m personally not into bombs or saws, in comparison to Sektor’s weapons and I don’t like setplay.) I’m most interested in Noob (Chaos Magic and returning to possibly MK Trilogy levels of busted with the returning moves), Sektor (even more like Iron Man and Iron Spider), T-1000 (I know ‘another Terminator,’ but could have an interaction with Peacemaker because he looks like his dad and Arnold’s Terminator is slow and gun focused, while T-1000 is fast, an assassin with shapeshifting, rushdown, and mostly melee), and Ghostface (possibly two Ghostfaces fighting together and other Scream tropes.) I also am interested in Conan, since he could use side weapons, like the axe from the movie or stuff from the comics and a juggernaut character that hits hard. The pre-order skins and gear means you can change the helmets of the Cyber Lin Kuei or UMK3 for Noob (there’s a quick shot of another Cyrax and Sektor with different helmets but same body.) In Shang’s Invasion fight, he transformed into the same pre-order skins and used old Noob’s Shadow Ball, so they teased it in Invasions early. Also confirmed that besides Arnold (again) the other Guests have the same VAs/actors that played the characters before. Edited - Hyena is likely Havik or Baraka because of the face, hippo is Geras because of the markings, sand from the mouth, and blue eyes, Reptile was a monkey before, so he could be the gorilla (the monkey just chased the opponent offscreen and nothing else), dinosaur is Quan Chi because of the marking on the head and the green aura/magic, wolves are Kenshi and Sento, and Scorpion is a scorpion (but he had a penguin before.)

If sektor and cyrax head doesn't match there body then why did they approve for it in the game you guys make everything a big deal like you can change the helmet if you customize it

I feel like for the guest characters they should do a game collab like have DoomSlayer, Talion The Grave Walker from (Shadow of War) & Kratos or Dante from DMC. that would be dope imo

Who is checking for Conan the barbarian? The only people who wanted him in the game is Ed Boone himself with his 80s nostalgia. T1000 caught me off guard not gonna lie he’s going to look amazing on PC and I’m pretty sure he’s going to fight like Glacius from killer instinct. No, with that out the way, I know people that’s going to react to this trailer and fake front like they don’t care about the gender swap with the cyborgs on top of them putting on the armor like Iron Man. If people wanted more female characters in the game, don’t gender swap classic characters. It would’ve been the perfect time with the cage, match movie coming out last year to put in the whole entire sisterhood of shadow. The fans would’ve lost their minds if they would’ve made it to the roster. Jatakas design engagement was amazing and that would’ve looked amazing in this game.

I would be more excited if they weren’t asking 60 dollars, I paid 70 dollars for the game damn. If it was like 20 I would be more ok with it. Other than that it looks more well put together than kombat pack 1, one wasn’t bad but felt messy.

The only kombatant I'm not feeling is T-1000 since Terminator isn't here so I'm not crazy about his nemesis being here without him. Genderswap Cyrax and Sektor look cool plus they're using multiverse to do whatever so can't really complain. I'm happy to see Ghostface and i think even Conan is cool choice as MK needs a barbarian although i wish Red Sonja was here as well. I'm really glad Noob is here aka Ninja Ebon. The campaign looks very interesting.

I'd have preferred just returning MK characters instead of guests tbh. I miss Nightwolf, and Kabal. For the guests, for me, it is Conan I find to be a weird inclusion, it doesn't fit in my book, it's too medieval and crude, similar to how I thought Robocop was a terrible choice for MK11 (and to be honest I didn't like their take on the T-800 either, pretty boring to watch and play). The only decent guest character I liked was Spawn, that's about it. I guess Rambo was barely ok. I'm just not a fan of guest characters in general tbh, maybe it's just me though. Weirdly enough I did like Predator in MKX, but I didn't like the Xenomorph (then again of course one couldn't be without the other, I get that). MKX basically gimmick'ed around Alien Vs Predator for its theme. Then MK11 went for Robocop Vs Terminator. But MK1's goal was Omni-Man Vs Homelander... meh, very boring, and unfitting (super heroes and villains in Mortal Kombat, nah I'm fine). I would just prefer them to focus on actual MK characters, or maybe new characters for the franchise but ones with interesting stories and would fit within the lore properly. If not just give us more Kameos. But no let's bring T-1000 and that rando Ghostface dude about which I've never watched a single movie of and have no interest in.

I get the T-1000 hate, I assume it was expensive to get the license and NRS is gonna use, same with Arnie's likeness. I'm hype for the MK characters, Noob getting his portal nonsense from mk9 could be fun. I have no idea what the fuck they're gonna do with Ghostface.

I like the idea of Sektor and Cyrax being female, but I don't like them being human. I think it makes their character less disturbing. I generally find that MK1 is somehow less dirty and gritty and I miss that, to be honest

T-1000 looks lame, but maybe he'll be fun at least. Havik looks great in personality! That's how Havik SHOULD BE.
